Social Worker - Athens

The Hellenic Red Cross was established on June 10, 1877. The Hellenic Red Cross is part of the world’s largest Humanitarian Organization- The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, our work is guided by seven fundamental principles; humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.
General:
The Hellenic Red Cross is managing Unaccompanied Minors’ Center in Athens.
The Center is currently in need for the following position: 1- Social Worker- 1 Position.
The Social worker will work at the UMC in Athens.

The main tasks include:

• Case work/Case management
• Identification and Mobilising of Resources in favour of the Minors
• Liaising Minors with the appropriate Services- in order to cover their needs.
• Other work-related tasks

Requirements for the Role:

• Degree in Social work or related degree is essential
• Experience in similar Programs will be preferred
• Availability to work in two shifts- Morning and Afternoon and Weekends
• Native Greek Language skills, Knowledge of English and Computer Skills are essential
